Studio Attic Salt announce the release of their debut title, Misadventures of Laura Silver, coming to PC on August 14th, 2019. The developers are three college students from Turkey, who have been developing visual novels, stories and software for the last two years. Misadventures of Laura Silver is their first commercial project, as well as the first Turkish visual novel.
About Misadventures of Laura Silver
Misadventures of Laura Silver: Chapter I is a western visual novel which takes place in the 1930s, in a small town in Czechoslovakia. Two detectives encounter unexpected murders and face with a web of plots while searching for mysterious folk creatures. The game is the first chapter of a three chapter novel. Each part is a medium length visual novel with some mixed mini-game elements, and takes around five to six hours to complete. There are lots of decisions and multiple endings depending on the player’s choices.
We’ve been developing it with passion in every moment we can find for around two years. We have chosen to be an independent studio to create a world that is unique and eccentric. We have been trying to cover the expenses out of our pockets during a time of an economic crisis in our country. It was hard, but fortunately we made a great progress over the years and we learned many things about project management, friendship and the benefits of hard work.
