The Division Beta

by Thelget

If you’ve been in a cave, hibernating for the winter, you may not be aware that The Division Beta weekend is happening this Friday!  PC players will get their Beta starting at 12pm GMT on Friday January 29th (XBox One players – Thursday January 28th at 9am GMT). I will be streaming my beta game play starting SATURDAY January 30th @ 10pm CST, stop by and check it out!

If you want to get in on the Beta, the easiest way is to Pre-Order through an authorized UBISoft reseller or you can join the waiting list via their website and hope to be one of the chosen.  I found the best deal for preordering at Gamesplanet.com where they’re offering the standard edition pre-order for 25% off and it DOES include beta access and all the pre-order perks.  If you’re looking for the Gold edition, they have it too for 30% off.  Not bad.

The game is a whopping 28gb download and does require you to sign-up for a free UPlay account.  So once you get your beta key, you’ll need to authorize it then login to UPlay to start your pre-load.  After all that, its just a matter of waiting until 6am Central Time Friday to jump into the fight and help restore New York!
