Modularity Games and Plasticity Studios announced the start of the open beta for the upcoming digital tabletop sim and creator Tabletop Playground. Download and play the beta through Steam from today until the 3rd of May, and enjoy classic or community made tabletop games, or create your own!
About Tabletop Playground
Players can enjoy a suite of classic games, such as Chess, checkers, cards, etc, and dozens of games already created by our community as part of our closed beta Creator’s Program. We’ve been running the program since the end of last year in collaboration with mod.io, which will be our cross-platform modding solution for Tabletop Playground.
In Time To Support #StayHome
Due to a mass of requests from gamers for an open beta in recent weeks, in large part due to so many people being stuck at home due to COVID-19. Modularity Games is opening it up for more people to check out the game and be able to help out even in a small way, by letting people around the world play tabletop games online together for free, when they need it most.
In-Game Editor
Players can utilize the in-game editor for the games they’d like to create over the next few weeks. Players who do upload any creations during the open beta period will go in the running for final release codes for the game and their friends!
