Leading video game publisher Maximum Games has launched the free* Dead Alliance Open Beta, the multiplayer team-based shooter. Open beta runs from July 27-31 on the PlayStation®4, Xbox One and Windows PC. The open beta invites players to turn the undead into weapons against their enemies in three intense game modes – Team Deathmatch, King of the Hill and the MOBA-inspired Attrition mode – across three zombie-plagued maps.
Developed by Psyop Games and IllFonic, Dead Alliance raises the stakes of competitive shooters with the advent of zMods, zombie-controlling tech that can be used to strategically strike, swarm, flank, block, distract and surprise opponents in the heat of battle. The game is set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where teams of warring military factions fight for control of humanity’s last resources. At launch, Dead Alliance will feature a variety of single-player and 4v4 multiplayer modes, including Team Deathmatch, Attrition, King of the Hill, Capture and Hold, Free for All and Solo Survival.
Rethink FPS
Dead Alliance encourages players to rethink the way they play competitive shooters; zombies are more than just the enemy – they are weapons that can be used tactically against your opponents with the help of zombie-controlling zMods. In the hands of savvy players, zombies can be manipulated to swarm or flank foes, block paths, flush out campers, create walls of dead flesh to obscure enemy vision, and more.
